OVCDC opened in September 1969 with one director/teacher/cook and three children using one room. The center has continually grown and at the present time we have a center director, business manager, program manager, a cook and over a dozen staff. We are now licensed for 75 children between the ages of 4 weeks to 12 years.

OVCDC is sponsored by Olympic View Friends Church, which names the director and board to oversee the operation of the day care. The board is made up of members nominated by church officials, church pastor, and the daycare director.

Olympic View Friends Church is part of the Northwest Yearly Meeting of Friends Churches. We welcome anyone who wishes to be a part of our church family. The church offers programs for all ages.
